How Figure Out Important

List out 6 main areas of your life. One example of this would be FAMILY, FRIENDS, CAREER, GROWTH, FUN, PERSONAL.

In each area describe the most important things to you. For example, in your career, you might write down money, fun, flexibility, control...

Go through each area and think through what each value means to you. Define them and describe what they are to you.

Describe some examples when you have felt your values have been challenged. Think of a few different examples of when something happened that challenged, violated or changed your values.

If you were to have the best life ever, what would be the most important value to you? What would be the next most important value to you? Continue until you have listed your values in order that are most useful for you.

Figure out what behaviours you are engaging in now and how they work with your values. Find out if what behaviours and habits you have in your life are preventing you from maintaining your values successfully.
