
Now although there is already some tips in the resources section on becoming more self disciplined, this month, we offer some tips on disciplining yourself, getting more motivated and getting things completed.
1) Organise your life, work space and business so it's most condusive to getting things done and completed.
2) Decide what it is specifically you want to do and when exactly you want to have it done.
3) Find out what other tasks you want to do and when you want to get them done exactly.
4) Establish all the things you have to do and everything in your schedule. Plan in some safe time (extra time in case things take longer than you anticipated) just in case.,/
5) Set out a plan of which parts of the task you want to get done by what time. Plan small rewards along the way when you get each part of the task accomplished.
6) Think out inside your mind about having all these things completed successfully and how it would feel if you didn't get them finished at all. Build up the experiences mentally so they become vivid enough to affect your feelings.
7) When thinking about the task find out what word motivates you the most (need, have to, must, can do, want to etc...) and what tone of voice you use when you are motivated. start using that word and tone when you are talking about getting the planned part done.
8) Remember to plan out everything in a diary or journal and make sure that once it's in your schedule it is essential to do and accomplish.
9) Whenever you don't feel like doing the task on your list.... DO IT ANYWAY.
10) Remember you can still have fun time... just plan it in and remember... a hang over can affect the quality of the work you do so account for that in your planning.
