Book Review: The Audacity of Hope by Barack Obama |
The Audacity of Hope is a different to normal recommendation. It doesn't have anything to do with NLP per say but it contains a fascinating exploration of the policies, views and some historical background information of the next president of the United States. As we enter these uncertain times, more people than ever are interested in the man who will soon become one of the most powerful men in the world. This book is a terrific testament to the man. Obama wrote it a few years ago, before he ran for president but it does outline some of the biggest challenges in American Politics and how he would handle it. I recommend this book because it is very easy to read, very personable and provides you with a better understanding one man who can make a change in the way the world is run. |

Book Review: Richard Bandlers Guide to Trance-formations by Richard Bandler |
Richard Bandlers Guide to Trance Formations is the second of Richards newest books. Edited brilliantly by Garner Thompson, this book is a thorough and brilliant offering which teaches people the basics of NLP and Hypnosis from the man himself. Richard also explains some advanced skills and techniques and provides us with a refreshingly clear perspective on all aspects of NLP, Hypnosis and Therapy. I highly recommend this book along with Richards other book Get the Life You Want... and believe it is a MUST have for anyone interested in NLP, Hypnosis or Personal Change!! |

'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho The Alchemist is a worldwide bestseller and one of the best known books in the field of personal development. It is easier to understand why. Coelho takes us on a journey with a character named Santiago who begins to discover that life is not about what he thought it was about. This thought provoking adventure is not only a highly enjoyable read, it also finds a way to get to us deeply and provoke us into realising a wonderful secret about life. If you want to learn a hugely valuable lesson about life, this books for you. I highly recommend it.
RICH DAD, POOR DAD by Robert Kiyosaki & Sharon Letcher Rich dad, poor dad is a best seller and for good reason. The book provides you with ideas and understandings which help inspire and teach you some secrets to becoming wealthy. Robert offers a guide through retelling two main philosophies which he received from his two 'dads'. He shows us how traditional education does not show us the way to weath and he provides an alternative way of living a wealthy and prosperous existence. Definitely recommended if you want to become richer!! |
