What Makes People Special |
This month I also want to talk about what makes a person special. Now the term ‘special’ is used to refer to different kinds of people. From the concept of special needs to a special friend, the term is used quite regularly to mean different things in different contexts.
What I want to talk about here is the notion of what makes a person special to you. What is it about them that makes you describe them in such a affectionate and emphasised way.

Finding your Hearts Desire |
This month I want to talk about a concept we all know as your 'Hearts Desire'. Very often, we hear of this as expressing the most important thing to us that we want in life. I want to examine how we can find our hearts desire and reach that wonderful place where we feel fulfilled.
Most of life, we spend chasing after what we want and running away from what we don't. We struggle through our existence to try and get the best of life we can. meanwhile there are many people throughout the world less off than us and better off than us. Somehow we trap ourselves in comparing ourselves with others instead of truely setting our focus on manifesting our hearts desire. |

You are way more than you thought you were |
Firstly, you will never know who you truely are because you are not qualified to make that judgement because you have been wrong before. The good news though is that nobody else is qualified to judge you either. You can however and they can however judge your intentions and actions. Your intentions refer to what you want to do and why you want to do it. Your actions refer to what you do and how you do it. |

The Power of Now, Before & Next |
Probably one of the most popular books out there in the self development market is a book entitled 'The Power of Now'. What I wanted to talk about this month was the power of NOW, BEFORE and NEXT. Although I think the book is a fantastic book and highly recommend it, I want to add some more ideas which I believe you will find useful to keep in mind. |

Living a Life you were supposed to Live |
Every day we wake up with one fundamental choice. We can either be the best we can be or not. Being the best we can be involves doing the best we can, speaking the best we can, learning the best we can, taking care of ourselves the best we can and getting on with others the best we can.
This month I wanna talk about this choice. You see, most people I get to work with and, in fact, most people I know don't live the best that they can. I didn't either and still sometimes I don't. The difference is that I do much more than I ever did and I continue to do better each day. I made a choice a while back to live out more of my potential because I wasn't satisfied with the way things were going in my life before. |

The Solution to Lifes Problems |
Myself and Brian have worked with people with all kinds of problems over the years. We have helped people overcome anything from serious depression, intense panic attacks, 'flaming' phobias and immense stress. When we teach people in seminars how to use NLP, we are really teaching them how to deal with their own problems. Using the basic of NLP, you can overcome most of the problems that you have. Unfortuantely so many people love the idea of 'NLP' but do not use it to turn their lifes around. So often we do all that we can simply to get people to use the skills we teach rather than discuss the wonderful world of NLP. |

Who Cares what Other People Think |
I have recently had a number of clients whose biggest problem consisted of how they felt other people looked at them and how they thought other people thought of them. Since the beginning of civilisation our reputation in the eyes of others has been important. The problem is that so often we cause ourselves trouble because we care so much about what other people think that we become self conscious, nervous, paniced and we back away from doing things which would improve our life. |

Probably one of the things that gets in peoples way the most is the beliefs they have about themselves, their capabilities and the world they live in. Your beliefs determine how you interact with the world. Your beliefs are usually formed as generalisations which limit us or liberate us in some way. |

Jealousy is something which can break down relationships and become a dangerous obsession for some people. This month I felt that it was useful to diuscuss the nature of jealousy and, more importantly of course, how to deal with it successfully.
When someone becomes jealous, they do so by thinking about what another person has or seems to have or be, They then compare that with what they themselves have and they feel inadequate. Although this generalisation is not always true, it certainly explains quite a lot of jealousy out their. Like any intangible noun, jealousy is actually referring to a process. This process is the art of 'jealousising'. You see what's crucial to remember is that when you think of things as the processes that they are, you develop control over them. |

In Life, one thing that is almost guaranteed is the existence of Mind Games. We often wish that we never had to play them but we do and they are necessary. What I want to talk about is different ways to handle mind games successfully. Although it may not be true that you can always win mind games, I do believe that there are certain effective ways of handling them. |

Love, Attraction & Connection |
There is this belief that exists that says that we have a soul mate out there in the world. We feel complete in their presence and are head over heels in love with them and them with us. This notion has been around since the beginning of time when according to some legends we were born as a couple and Zeus apparently tore us apart. Thus we spend our lives searching for our 'other half'. We bond and connect with our partners and we make commitments for life to them. Some of us are lucky enough to have found the 'perfect person' and spend our lives living happily in a blissful relationship where we adore our partners and they adore us. But then there are some of us that have not found that perfect soul mate. |
