This month we have different tips on reading people:
1. Watch their eyes. By the way their eyes move when they are answering questions, they will reveal to you a good indication as to whether they are making images, talking to themselves or accessing feelings. These cues are called eye accessing cues.
2. Listen to the language they are using. They will often use either mainly visual, auditory or kinaesthetic words which will suggest how they are thinking at that moment in time. (the way it looks to me as I see it; the way it sounds to me as I hear it; the way it feels to me as I get it)
3. Notice what words they most often seem to use and that they seem to enjoy using. Such words are trigger words which will often be powerful for them to hear. 4. Ask them questions which give you the information you are looking for. Figure out what exactly you want to know and ask them.
5. Watch them when they are communicating about something that is true and something that isn't true and pay close attention to any differences which exist between both truth and fiction.
6. Look them in their eyes and watch their reaction to each idea when they are listening. You will sometimes see a difference between how they initially look as they first encounter the idea and how they pretend to feel which will give you a good indication as to their experience. |
